Testing out a new player sprite
I had some feedback at an event that the cars were pretty tiny. I had planned to add in some hand drawn graphics at some point and it felt like a good time to try out a rough draft of some new sprites for the player tow truck.
After figuring out it's collision mask, which I pieced together with three polygon shapes in gamemaker opposed to a chain mask, it's working surprisingly well! Also with a shadow now to make it fit better into the game's world.
I'm not sure if the player will be way bigger than the cars in the end, but it certainly seems like a monster truck currently. Currently planning on updated the playable build after finishing similar sprites for the draggable cars.
